Premium quoted is subject to the following conditions:
- The Protection Plan is applicable for client-provided units within the specified date range.
- Plan Fee does not include taxes like VAT.
- Only 1 Claim per year of the Protection Plan.
- In the event of a Claim (Replacement or Voucher), the Plan cover expires immediately, and the balance plan fees for a full year (12 months) need to be paid.
- For a Claim (Repair), balance plan fees for a full year (12 months) need to be paid.
- 20% of the Device Value is the Claim Fee per Claim (deductible per claim).
- Service Centers are Soorago Approved Partners.
- Policy management and Claims:
- Soorago Online Portal for Policy sales and claims management, available 24X7.
- Claims will be processed within 2 working hours from the claim input. Claims office available 5 days a week, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. Exceptions are declared holidays.
- Claim process starts after receiving the deductible amount in full.
- In brands without a local authorized service center in UAE, additional wait periods will be communicated.
- Device Value and condition jointly declared by Soorago and the Device Owner.
- If the Declared Device Value is discovered as underquoted or over-quoted during the plan duration, the plan will be terminated, and fees forfeited.
What are Soorago Device Protection Plans?
The range of eligible products includes Cameras and Media Equipment. Eligible products are covered under, as per the plan purchased:
- Soorago device protection plans are for a range of eligible products rented from Soorago authorized sellers.
- It covers incidents and claims serviceable within the UAE.
- Claims are administered by ZH Middle East DMCC, UAE.
- Subscription fees:
- Must be paid unless your Soorago Insurance Plan is canceled by you or us.
- Failure to pay fees when due may result in insurance termination.
- Reasonable precautions:
- Maintain your covered product and take precautions against breakdown or accidental damage.
- Other plans policies:
- If you have other plan policies at the time of an incident, we will pay only our share of the claim.
- Canceling your Soorago Insurance Plan:
- You may cancel anytime through your account. No refund upon cancellation.
- We may cancel with 14 days’ notice to your registered email.
Know in detail about the Accidental Damage Plan?
Soorago Insurance covers eligible products for accidental damage subject to these terms and conditions, applicable as long as subscribed:
AD can be subscribed to within 1095 days of the covered product's purchase date. This plan covers eligible products for accidental damage up to 1 year from the plan purchase date, based on the subscribed term.
If you choose to pay the Soorago insurance Plan fee monthly and make a repair claim, you must pay the unpaid part of the 12 Months Soorago insurance Plan fee.
If your covered product suffers accidental damage during the Soorago Plan period, we will arrange for repair through our partner network. You must pay the Claim Fees during claim submission or repair partner network handover.
If repair is uneconomical, we will replace your covered product. If unavailable, we will reimburse you for the Declared Device Value less depreciation and Claim Fees with a voucher for any Soorago authorized outlet.

How do i make a Claim or Complaint?
- If you believe your covered product suffered accidental damage, register the claim via Soorago website or mobile application.
Provide incident information for an initial assessment. We may rectify the problem over the phone or at a Soorago center. Evidence of ownership must be provided.
If repair or replacement is needed, complete an online claim form, and we may ask for further information. We will handle all claim notifications within 48 hours. - If you have a complaint, contact reach@soorago.com. Our Customer Relations Team aims to resolve complaints within two working days, escalating if necessary.

If repair is not possible, we may replace your covered product. If replacement is not possible, we will reimburse you for the Declared Device Value less depreciation.
What is Not Covered?
- Manufacturer’s recall of your covered product.
- Malfunction or component failure not due to external accidental impact.
- Failure during the manufacturer’s warranty period.
- Misuse, failure to follow instructions, overcharging.
- Wear and tear, rusting, or gradual deterioration due to normal use.
- Failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Damage due to a virus.
- Unauthorized repair or modification by a third-party.
- Deliberate acts or negligence.
- Storing the device in high-risk locations.
- Wear, tear, and routine discoloration due to age.
- Loss, theft, or misplacing devices.
- Loss of use of the device or consequential loss.
- Theft under specific circumstances mentioned.
General exclusions:
- Incidents outside the plan period.
- Dangerous use or activities requiring device breakage.
- Filming dangerous stunts or activities.
- Depreciation or claim fees applicable.
- Charges for device removal or installation.
- Upgrades not done by the OEM.
- Malfunction not due to accidental damage.
- Routine servicing, inspection, maintenance.
- Claims without proof of purchase.
- Serial number tampering.
- Incidents not reported within 15 days.
- Costs other than repair or replacement.
Specific conditions in relation to Replacements:
- Replacement provided as per local laws.
- Region-specific device authorized by the TRA or regulatory authority.
Is my product covered under Theft?
What you need to know under Theft coverage:
- By opting for theft coverage, your covered products will be protected against theft, in addition to accidental damage. This means that if your device is stolen, it will be replaced or reimbursed according to the theft coverage terms outlined in the policy.
- If you choose not to add theft coverage, your insurance policy will only cover accidental damage. Theft protection will not be included, and you will be solely responsible for any losses incurred due to theft.
- There is an additional premium of 3% on all devices for vendors opting for theft coverage. This premium ensures that your devices are protected against theft along with accidental damage.
Other important info you need to know?
If we pay any benefit under this Plan, we are entitled to recover such amounts from other parties. By accepting benefits, you agree to transfer rights of recovery against any other party to us.
False or fraudulent claims lead to loss of benefits and paid premiums. We may record this on anti-fraud databases and notify other organizations. We may also recover any benefit already paid.
UAE law applies to your Soorago Insurance Plan.
The language and communications will be English.
No party involved in your Soorago Insurance Plan can make commitments on behalf of the other party beyond the outlined terms, conditions, and provisions, unless directed by relevant government authorities.
Terms & Conditions
This is your Soorago Insurance Plan's terms and conditions, together with your purchase invoice or proof of purchase, constituting your agreement with us. Definitions Some words in this Soorago Insurance Plan have specific meanings, explained below and having the same meaning wherever they appear in bold throughout. Accidental Damage: Externally visible damage to the exterior of your covered product due to an unexpected, unforeseeable, unintentional impact. Covered product(s): Eligible products owned by you or a company governed by UAE laws. Subscription Plan/Fees: Amount paid for the protection plan. Depreciation: Deduction from Declared Device Value if your covered product cannot be repaired or replaced. The above table is indicative and does not define the maximum or minimum tenure or the % charged towards depreciation. The number of quarters depends on the tenure of your policy.
